The Mohair Cloud Cowl Knitting Pattern

This cowl pattern is the PERFECT relaxing knit to work on while you watch tv or need a mindless type of knitting to wind down after a long day.

MEASUREMENTS:

One Size.

This cowl is worked in the round, creating one long tube, which you will seam at both ends to create the cowl.

Once you have seamed the ends together, the cowl will measure 10” (25cm) in width and 8” (20cm) in length.

GAUGE:

14 sts x 16 rows = 4” (10cm)
in stockinette stitch, worked in the round.

FIBER:

Aran weight (#4 medium).

Suggested fiber: Wool & The Gang Take Care Mohair (78% Kid Mohair, 13% Wool, 9% Polyamide; 109yds 100m / 1.76oz 50g).

Amount used for pattern: 164yds 150m / 2.64oz 75g.

SUPPLIES:

US 11 / 8.0mm needles (at least 16” circular needles, or larger if using the magic loop method).
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Tapestry needle.
